For pool and spa builders

Let homeowners design their pool and hot tub before your first site visit.

We put your pool shapes, liners, tile and coping in a 3D configurator on your website. Homeowners try every combination, see the price, and arrive at the consultation already excited about a design.

The problem

Homeowners can't picture a pool from a brochure.

A homeowner looking at liner samples and tile chips has to imagine how it will all come together in their yard. Your designers spend hours on site visits with people who are still just browsing, and the upsells that matter most, like spas and lighting, are hard to sell from a catalog.

How a 3D configurator fixes this

A 3D configurator on your website lets homeowners see their pool in detail before you ever visit their yard.

Homeowners see the finished pool

Homeowners pick a shape and size, then try liners, waterline tile and coping until it looks right. They can even switch to night mode to see the lights.

Upgrades sell themselves

Adding a raised hot tub that spills into the pool takes one tap, and the homeowner sees it working. Spas, sun shelves and lighting are much easier to sell when people can see them.

Your site visits are with serious buyers

Each lead comes with the design they chose and a price, so you know what they want and what they can spend before you drive out.

Try it

Try the 3D configurator yourself.

The builder at the top of this page is the real thing, not a video. Try these steps, then picture your own products in it.

  1. Add the raised hot tub and watch it spill into the pool through its stone channel.
  2. Turn on Night to see the pool and spa lit up.
  3. Switch to the Lagoon or Roman shape and compare it with the rectangle.
  4. Try different liners, tile and coping and see how the look changes.

It works just as well on a phone.

Homeowners can design their pool standing in the backyard.

What your customers can do

  • Homeowners can choose the pool shapes you install and set the size.
  • They can pick a liner pattern, waterline tile, coping and decking.
  • They can add a hot tub, a spillover, a sun shelf or steps.
  • They can add lights, heating, a salt system and a robotic cleaner.

What we model for you

  • We model your shape catalog so every pool can be sized to the homeowner's yard.
  • We match your liner, tile and coping lines from samples or photos.
  • We build your signature features, such as spillways, rock waterfalls and tanning ledges.

Your plan includes 3D models of up to 3 or 5 of your products, built from your photos and specs, and you own the finished models.

Existing models

Already have 3D models of your products?

Send them to us. Most 3D models are made for pictures, not for building things with, so their parts are merged together, unlabeled, or missing the pieces that need to move. A builder needs every door, panel and finish to be a separate, named part that code can control, so a door can open and a finish can change when a customer picks it.

That's why we build bespoke models and why modeling is priced the way it is. If your existing models are built well enough to use, we'll use them, and they won't count toward the models your plan includes.

The math

One extra pool, or one more hot tub sale, pays for the first year.

A typical pool sells for around $75,000 and earns the builder about $15,000. The first year on our Standard plan, with up to 5 3D models included, costs about $8,100, so one extra order covers it.

How it works

Creating a 3D configurator tailored to your business typically takes four to eight weeks.

  1. You send your products

Send us photos, drawings or CAD files, along with every option, size and price rule. A 15-minute call is enough to get started.

  2. We model them in 3D

We build each product to your measurements with your materials. Parts that move in real life, like doors, beds and seats, move in the model too.

  3. We build your 3D configurator

We set up your options, pricing rules and branding on your site, with a checkout that works the way you sell.

  4. You approve, and we launch

You try it on a private link and ask for changes, then it goes live. After launch, we host it, keep it secure and fix anything that breaks.

Questions

What pool and spa builders usually ask us.

Every backyard is different. Is the price in the builder accurate?

The builder prices the pool itself the way you do, by shape, size and options. Site work you can only price after a visit, like excavation or access, can be left as a note or added to the quote afterward.

Can it show the liner and tile lines we actually carry?

Yes. We match your manufacturers' patterns from samples or photos, and you can turn options on or off as your suppliers change their lines.

Do homeowners have to pay online?

Only if you want them to. Most pool builders have homeowners request a consultation with their design attached, or put down a small deposit to hold a spot on the schedule.

Are our products too custom for a 3D configurator?

That's why we model your products instead of using a template. The tank demo places fittings to the inch, and the van demo folds a couch into a bed. If you can imagine it, we can build it in 3D.

Are the 3D models included?

Yes. Starter includes 3D models of up to 3 of your products and Standard up to 5. A model is one product, style or part, like a shed style, a pool shape or a van galley. Each model after that is $500. Every model is built from your actual products and set up so code can control it, with each door, panel and finish as a separate, labeled part, and you own the models.

We already have 3D models. Can you use them?

Send them to us and we'll take a look. Models made for renderings usually need rework before a builder can control them, but if yours are built well enough to use, we'll use them, and they won't count toward the models your plan includes.

Do I need Shopify?

No. The 3D configurator embeds into any website, including WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow and custom sites. On those, customers can pay through Stripe, in full or as a deposit, or send a quote request. If you do use Shopify, Starter adds the builder to your current store and Standard rebuilds your store on Shopify.

Can I change prices myself?

Yes. You can edit prices, option names and lead times, and turn options on or off, at any time. Adding new 3D parts is a small project that we quote up front.

How long does it take?

Most builders launch in four to eight weeks, depending on how many products we model.

What does the monthly plan cover?

It covers hosting, security, the software that runs your 3D configurator, and fixing anything that breaks, including keeping it working as Shopify and web browsers change. You can change prices, option names and lead times yourself at any time. If you want new options, 3D parts or products added, we quote that work before we start.

What if I cancel?

You can cancel with 30 days' notice. You keep your content and the 3D models of your products, and the builder itself, which is licensed through the monthly plan, goes offline.
