For camper van builders

Buyers customize your floor plan in their van.

We model your conversions in 3D, from your layouts and cabinetry to your finishes, and put them in a builder on your website. Buyers design their van, watch the price update as they go, and reserve a build slot in the way you take orders.

The problem

Buyers spend six figures on a van they've only seen in photos.

Most of your buyers live hours away, and many are comparing you with three other builders. They study photos of past builds, send long emails about layout changes, and wait days for a quote. Plenty of them give up before they ever book a visit.

How a 3D configurator fixes this

A 3D configurator on your website lets buyers explore your vans from home, in as much detail as a visit to your shop.

Buyers walk through their own van

Buyers switch floor plans, open the doors, fold out the bed and look inside from any angle. They understand your layout before the first phone call.

Clear per-option pricing

Solar, awnings, upholstery and every upgrade show their price the moment they're picked, so buyers set their own budget and you stop rewriting quotes.

Buyers ready to commit

Each lead arrives with the complete build: the floor plan, every option, the finishes and the total. Your first call starts at the deposit, not at the beginning.

Try it

Try the 3D configurator yourself.

The builder at the top of this page is the real thing, not a video. Try these steps, then picture your own products in it.

Open the full builder with prices →

  1. Switch between the Workcamp and Lounge floor plans and compare the layouts.
  2. Tap Make bed and watch the couch fold out into a full bed.
  3. Tap Swivel seats to turn the cab seats around to face the table.
  4. Open the sliding door and the back doors, or pick Cutaway to see inside with the walls removed.

It works just as well on a phone.

Buyers can design their van from the road.

What your customers can do

  • Buyers can choose between the floor plans you build and see how each one uses the space.
  • They can pick cabinet, counter, wall and upholstery finishes and see them in the van.
  • They can try the features that move, like beds that convert, seats that swivel and tables that drop.
  • They can add solar, awnings, roof racks and the other upgrades you offer.
  • They can choose the chassis and wheelbase you build on.

What we model for you

  • We model your chassis, whether it's a Sprinter, ProMaster or Transit, in every length you build on.
  • We model each module you build, like your galley, bathroom, bed, seating and storage.
  • We match your materials and colors from samples or photos you send us.

Your plan includes 3D models of up to 3 or 5 of your products, built from your photos and specs, and you own the finished models.

Existing models

Already have 3D models of your products?

Send them to us. Most 3D models are made for pictures, not for building things with, so their parts are merged together, unlabeled, or missing the pieces that need to move. A builder needs every door, panel and finish to be a separate, named part that code can control, so a door can open and a finish can change when a customer picks it.

That's why we build bespoke models and why modeling is priced the way it is. If your existing models are built well enough to use, we'll use them, and they won't count toward the models your plan includes.

The math

Selling one extra van pays for the whole first year.

A typical build sells for around $150,000 and earns the shop about $20,000. The first year on our Standard plan, with up to 5 3D models included, costs about $8,100, so one extra order covers it.

Extra orders needed to pay for the first year1 order

12 months of the plan$3,600

How it works

Creating a 3D configurator tailored to your business typically takes four to eight weeks.

  1. You send your products

Send us photos, drawings or CAD files, along with every option, size and price rule. A 15-minute call is enough to get started.

  2. We model them in 3D

We build each product to your measurements with your materials. Parts that move in real life, like doors, beds and seats, move in the model too.

  3. We build your 3D configurator

We set up your options, pricing rules and branding on your site, with a checkout that works the way you sell.

  4. You approve, and we launch

You try it on a private link and ask for changes, then it goes live. After launch, we host it, keep it secure and fix anything that breaks.

Questions

What camper van builders usually ask us.

Can it show our exact layouts, not a generic van?

Yes. We model your floor plans and cabinetry from your drawings and photos, so the builder shows the van you actually build. Moving parts like convertible beds and swivel seats work the way they do in your shop.

We build on more than one chassis. Is that a problem?

No. Each chassis and wheelbase is modeled once, and your modules are fitted to each one. Buyers pick the chassis first and the floor plans adjust to it.

Our buyers always want custom changes. Can the builder handle that?

The builder covers the options you offer most, and buyers can add notes for anything else. You get the full build sheet with their notes attached, so the custom conversation starts from a clear picture.

Are our products too custom for a 3D configurator?

That's why we model your products instead of using a template. The tank demo places fittings to the inch, and the van demo folds a couch into a bed. If you can imagine it, we can build it in 3D.

Are the 3D models included?

Yes. Starter includes 3D models of up to 3 of your products and Standard up to 5. A model is one product, style or part, like a shed style, a pool shape or a van galley. Each model after that is $500. Every model is built from your actual products and set up so code can control it, with each door, panel and finish as a separate, labeled part, and you own the models.

We already have 3D models. Can you use them?

Send them to us and we'll take a look. Models made for renderings usually need rework before a builder can control them, but if yours are built well enough to use, we'll use them, and they won't count toward the models your plan includes.

Do I need Shopify?

No. The 3D configurator embeds into any website, including WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow and custom sites. On those, customers can pay through Stripe, in full or as a deposit, or send a quote request. If you do use Shopify, Starter adds the builder to your current store and Standard rebuilds your store on Shopify.

Can I change prices myself?

Yes. You can edit prices, option names and lead times, and turn options on or off, at any time. Adding new 3D parts is a small project that we quote up front.

How long does it take?

Most builders launch in four to eight weeks, depending on how many products we model.

What does the monthly plan cover?

It covers hosting, security, the software that runs your 3D configurator, and fixing anything that breaks, including keeping it working as Shopify and web browsers change. You can change prices, option names and lead times yourself at any time. If you want new options, 3D parts or products added, we quote that work before we start.

What if I cancel?

You can cancel with 30 days' notice. You keep your content and the 3D models of your products, and the builder itself, which is licensed through the monthly plan, goes offline.
